We are a group of social scientists and methodologists interested in improving the current democracy measuring methods and their related practice.

We are also a group of global citizens who are specially concerned about China's democratization that we take measuring Chinese democracy as our first application.

This project is directed by Dr. Alex Liu who is a democracy activist, a democracy researcher and also a known methodologist. In the past, Dr. Liu has developed new measurement technologies for consumer behavior research, social impact assessment, entrepreneurship assessment, 4capital evaluation and financial risk analysis. He has also conducted many empirical research on democratization including a study on the Patterns and Results of the Third Democratization Wave.
