Since 2009, GrmdsAI has been building communities that connect researchers, data scientists, AI professionals, students, educators, organizations, and innovators. Our goal is simple: bring people together to learn, collaborate, share knowledge, and create greater value through research, data science, and artificial intelligence.

The global RMDSai community has grown to more than 30,000 members, bringing together people interested in research methods, data science, artificial intelligence, analytics, innovation, and professional development.

GrmdsAI also supports a local RMDSai community in Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area. The community has grown to more than 1,500 members and provides opportunities for face-to-face learning, networking, workshops, discussions, and professional collaboration.
The Pasadena community connects people from research methodology, data science, AI technology, analytics, and professional services.
Community building has always been more than maintaining an online network. Since its founding, GrmdsAI and RMDS have organized conferences such as the IM Data Annual Conference, competitions including the COVID-19 Risk Map Challenge co-organized with the City of Los Angeles, workshops on topics such as data science and blockchain, professional training programs co-offered with UC Riverside, and many other events connecting people around research, data science, and AI.
These activities help members learn from experts, collaborate with peers, solve real-world challenges, showcase their capabilities, and build lasting professional relationships. As GrmdsAI enters a new stage of development, we look forward to building new GrmdsAI communities that empower our customers, partners, and members to learn, innovate, and grow together.

Since 2018, RMDS has taken an ecosystem approach to data science and AI. In this approach, a strong community is not separate from technology and data; it is an essential part of an effective ecosystem where people, platforms, knowledge, data, and services work together.
